Green Elan without s/n

I bought this guitar a month ago in Russia. It doesn't have a serial number, and it doesn't look like it's ever been repainted. The previous owner said that the guitar was made for some kind of exhibition and was not intended for sale. If you have any information about this guitar, I will be grateful to you.

The colour is unusual and non-standard...however it also makes me think of how girls who dye their hair blue end up with green after a while. Maybe it's faded because of excessive sunlight? The back does not look re-finished so there is no logical reason why the serial is gone.
