Hello, i need some advice!
The wood of my Talon IV split and the Bridge Mounting Studs and Inserts came loose, resulting in a Collapsed Floyd Rose Tremolo...
It happend before (years ago) and i had it repaired bij D.Dijkman who was a professional guitar builder.
Does anyone have some experience with this?
I want it fixed, but is it possible to repair it for a second time? (how long the glue lasts)
Any help or tip is appreciated!
regards,
Floyd Rose Tremolo Collapsed!!!

Re: Floyd Rose Tremolo Collapsed!!!
The wood on the Talon bodies is very light and very weak. I would suggest looking for a replacement Heartfield body and transfer your trem and electronics. I have a spare body but ironically it has a crack at that spot as well.

A replacement Heartfield body is a option, but are all Heartfield parts (neck, body, tremolo etc.) interchangeable?
According to Wikipedia:
