EX 1

The EX 1 has an alder body with bolt-on maple neck with dot inlays on a rosewood fingerboard. It has 22 jumbo frets, a scale length of 25.5" (i.e. 648 mm) and a neck radius of 16.9" (430 mm). Black chrome hardware, Gotoh cast/sealed tuners, Gotoh Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, no pickguard, three high-output single coil pickups (2 singles in a 'humbucker' configuration at the bridge, 1 in the neck position), 3-way switch with coil selector and 3-way frequency boost, master volume control, master (Fender) TBX control. frequency control and boost.

The front mini-toggle controls the middle coil (the front coil of the rear pickup pair). It operates in conjunction with the 3-way blade switch. Switching the front mini-toggle up position turns on the middle coil in parallel with whichever coils are activated by the 3-way switch. The middle position on the front min-toggle turns off the middle coil. The down position turns on the middle coil in series with the coils activated by the 3-way switch (creating a classic humbucker sound). The rear mini-toggle turns on an adjustable frequency boost (+10dB boost). When activated, the tone control varies the frequency being boosted.

It used to sell for $869.99 (80,000 Yen).
